Trompe l’oeil (an art technique that creates optical illusions) is one of Maison Martin Margiela‘s favourite techniques, an effect which encapsulates the sense of duality that the label is famed for. Upon first glance, this white cotton-jersey T-shirt appears to have a broken blue digital print, but it’s in fact a lightly textured flocked fabric.
